Meet the Candidate
A Community Voice for Every Student
I am a parent, educational advocate, and community leader dedicated to strengthening partnerships between families, schools, and the broader community. As Parent Ambassador Lead, former PTA President, and School Site Council Chair, I have worked alongside Hayward families for years. I believe effective school board leadership means reviewing data carefully, understanding the real impacts of decisions, and always keeping students at the center.

View PrioritiesWhy I'm Running
In Joann's Words
My campaign didn't begin with politics. It began by showing up. As a parent, volunteer, and advocate, I've spent years listening, learning, and working alongside families, educators, and students. Those experiences have shaped how I lead: with curiosity, collaboration, and a commitment to making informed decisions that help every child succeed.
